Considered to be some of the most beautiful parks on the planet, Utah’s Mighty Five national parks (Bryce Canyon, Zion, Capital Reef, Arches and Canyonlands) draw visitors from around the globe each year.
Visiting the Mighty Five comes with the promise of unforgettable experiences, and you can unpack your excitement from the very moment you check in, thanks to unique lodgings in naturally spectacular settings.
From glamping resorts to Native American tipis, your accommodation is part of the adventure, and Utah Office of Tourism has revealed its top five recommendations on where to stay to get the most out of your visit.
1. Treehouses at Stone Canyon Inn

Two ‘tree houses’ at the Stone Canyon Inn feature a staircase that allows visitors to climb above the trees, but stay in comfort.
Each tree house contains a king size bed, a loft that sleeps two children, tiled bathrooms complete with shower, and windows that frame a panoramic view of breathtaking Bryce Canyon.
Amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV and complimentary WiFi are available too, so you can feel right at home.
After a day exploring red rock country on horseback, relax around the fire pit on the ground level.
2. Glamping resort at Under Canvas Zion

Nestled amid the famous red rocks of Zion National Park is a glamorous camp resort, Under Canvas, where luxury meets adventures.
This safari-style camp seamlessly blends into its dramatic surroundings, offering luxurious and comfortable canvas tents, upscale ‘farm-to-campfire-table’ dining under the stars and the option to enjoy resort-arranged activities nearby including mountain biking, horseback riding, jeep tours and hot air ballooning in one of USA’s most visited national parks.
3. Airstreams at Shooting Star RV Resort
Set in the heart of Southern Utah’s Red Rock Canyon Country, just off famous Scenic Byway 12, each of these nine star-studded Airstreams feature décor inspired by the movie sets of films like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Viva Las Vegas, and Breakfast at Tiffany.
You can book Marilyn Monroe’s trailer, decked out to resemble the icon’s dressing room while she was filming Some Like It Hot, John Wayne’ s trailer while he was shooting The Searchers, or Evils Presley’s while he was filming Blue Hawaii.
Come evening, watch a movie under the stars in one of the resort’s classic 1960s cars at the drive-in cinema.

Featuring an authentic 19th century design, these luxury wagons offer a unique way to enjoy the raw beauty of Utah’s red landscapes, less than 10 kilometres away from Capitol Reef National Park.
Each wagon features one king size bed and two sets of twin bunk beds, and can sleep up to six guests. There is also a private fire pit outside each wagon and private bathrooms are just steps away.
This basecamp for adventure is a perfect place to kick back and relax under the magical glow of the northern lights just as the pioneers would have done 175 years ago.
5. Native American Tipis at Ruby’s Inn RV Park and Campground
At the edge of the spectacular Bryce Canyon National Park, you can live out your childhood dreams in a Native American Tipi.
There are ten tipis available, each sleeping up to eight adults comfortably.
In this back-to-basics experience, you will need to bring your own sleeping gear, esky and camp stove, as the tipi offers no electricity, plumbing or beds, but there are rest rooms, hot showers, a Laundromat, pool and hot tub, and plenty of great outdoor experiences.
